let's face it, this ain't no blog, but what the hell... i feel like telling you about getting ready for the National Stationery Show... and going to nyc in MAY! I love going to the show for at least that reason: new york in May is one of the greatest places to be in the world... maybe it always is. This time I am not doing the show alone... thank goodness: I am bringing my cousin along for the ride and will be merciless towards her at the show. Right now I am spending all my time trying to prep the new catalog, and design new cards... and update the website... and raise a 5 year old as well... hmmm.

Yes, I am fostering a sweet little guy. He was found in the streets of Central LA and I am watching him for the next week. He is maybe the sweetest little dog, well behaved, great with kids, with dogs, all he needs a good home. He is as easy as pie.

I love new york and miss it much when I am in LA. So when I get to do the NY shows, I enjoy my trip as much as possible. Here are some highlights.

oh yes, they are all it's cracked up to be. just don't be too jealous that i'm friends with people who have friends who have parents who have a house in the hamptons. god bless 'em.

So yes, we just finished another show. And by "we" I mean me and my new favorite oplusd'er Chaya. Four and a half days of the show is enough to bring even the strongest to their knees, and surely it did me in. I am still recovering. Here are some pics of the booth.

just strolled in by myself on saturday... and fell in love with the space. not so much where they actually show the photography, which in itself is tiny, but the building under which you have to park and walk through.
Not a soul in site... gorgeous. The exhibit is extremely powerful and shows off some of the most incredible pictures taken during last year and the winners of the POYi award. http://www.poyi.org/

Art Deco to the hilt... made me want to be wearing some sleek creme colored silk shoulder strap gown with a marcel wave in my hair,
diamonds around my neck, and a handsome guy in a tuxedo with tails on my arm... Man, was I born in the wrong decade.
Topol proved to be an amazing force to watch, and everyone else just seemed amateur next to him.
